Two Movies
The other day I watched a movie called Scoop. It was a movie I enjoyed throughout the night without feeling sleepy. If you like humor, I am sure you will be entertained by Woody Allen. Scoop is a lighthearted movie with a murder mystery plot. The combination of humor and mystery makes it a unique movie to go after. Woody Allen has a serious number of quotes that you’ll want to remember after watching the movie. Here’s one from Sid Waterman that I like.
The second movie I saw was Unfaithful. The movie reveals how a 11 year-old marriage is subjected to the test of infidelity. The extramarital affair scenes took place at an apartment in Soho, New York City. I love Soho because the cobblestone roads create a special looking identity for the neighborhood. I felt devastated when the wife Connie Sumner committed adultery by falling in love with a 28 year-old heartthrob she met on a windy day. It is indeed tragic to see that happen to a beautiful marriage. The sex scenes were hot; a few occurred in public settings such as a restroom and a theater. Diane Lane (Connie Sumner) was not only sexy and also played very well during the intimate encounters. I recalled the moment where she laid down feeling very tensed and guilty - the sense of denial and yet a strong desire to engage in sexual activity with someone she secretly fell in love. I remembered a movie quote from Connie’s son, Charlie. He likes to say “You’re driving me bonkers.”. I thought that was cute.
